Texian (noun):

American settlers of Mexican-Texas who supported the Texas Revolution.

June 26, 1832. Texians, transporting a cannon from Brazoria to Anahuac, are challenged by Mexican forces at Velasco, thus marking the date of first bloodshed sparking the Texas Revolution. This beer was brewed on June 26 in honor of this fateful event. This easy drinking Mexican style pilsner was made with Liberty hops, maize and garnished with a slice of blood orange to commemorate the first bloodshed.
